We did some tests for this with bonnie last year, though under Tru64
rather than NetBSD. I found the results - maybe they will be
interesting anyway.
There are 4 test results. Three are in the PWS; they are: IDE disk with
SCSI controller (via Acard SCSI-IDE bridge); IDE drive on IDE
controller; and SCSI disk. THe SCSI disk is small and old though so not
a very fair comparison! Finally there's a test of a similar IDE drive
on the DS10 IDE controller.
