I've got a UDB aka multia aka piece of junk that I'm trying to turn into
a base station of sorts. Unfortunately the 802.11b card I've obtained
doesn't seem to do me much good. It's an Intel 2011 prism2 board. The
wi driver picks it up and everything but it fails to attach claiming that
it couldn't obtain a MAC address. What could cause this, and is there
anything I can do about it? I can't say that I've seen this card work in
other machines but I've been told that it was fine.
