Well, I upgraded my main workstation to current. Phoenix does crash
but not as often as it used to and I also got a hard hang with xmms and when
I tried to kill it the machine froze (or maybe went to ddb, don't know
because of X).

So threads are a lot better than they were when they were introduced but
there's still some flakiness left. I'll try todays current and see if there
are any changes.

I probably ought to dig out a terminal for those "special moments" with ddb...
