It is very likely that you have a TGA / TGA2 in your AS. That cards are
supported by the NetBSD Xserver, you don't need a XF86 Xserver for them.
They Just Work (C) (R) (TM) by starting xdm(1). (Make sure you can log
in to the AS via ssh(1) / telnet(1) and that you can su(1) to root...)
Look at the dmesg(1) output if it tels you somthing about "tga at pci"
or look at the NetBSD/alpha FAQ on the NetBSD/alpha web page. There is a
list (possibly outdated) of cards supported by the NetBSD Xserver.=20

There is a wscons FAQ on the NetBSD web page in the "Documentation"
section. Note that virtual consoles are not supported by alpha.=20
