I can get XFree86's scanpci to return pci data on both the DS10 and
UP2000+
boxes i can access. However 'startx' still does not produce a usable
display on either
machine. XFree86 starts and runs, does not crash the machine eats cpu,
produces a
a blue screen , stoped by killing the xfree86 pid(telnet in to do this),
appears we can not map
memory correctly , probe of /var/log/XFree86.0.log indicates log stops
at memory probe.
vga driver goes all the way, produces a colorfull screen of lines and
patches, no cpu overhead
eaten, and box runs this way with low load.
attached is up2000+ scanpci results as well as XFree86.0.log
