After compiling a cut down kernel on an AS1200, everything is okay until
it boots. Even though the line is supplied in the conf file to tell the
kernel to boot from sd0a, detection fails during the boot.

WARNING: can't figure what device matches "SCSI $long_string_of_numbers"

Then prompts for entry of root device, in which entering sd0a still will
not get it to boot from the drive.

I would really love to use this kernel as it has been cut down over 10MB.
Any suggestions, etc are welcome.

Thanks,
