I have made another tests, this time in jumperless mode (0x300/irq 5)

at boot time, I have this message
----
..
ep0 at isa0 port 0x300-0x30f irq 5: 3Com 3C509 Ethernet
ep0: address 00:20:af:c0:09:44, 8KB byte-wide FIFO, 5:3 Rx:Tx split
ep0: 10baseT, 10base5, 10base2 (default 10baseT)
alpha_shared_intr_establish: isa irq 5: warning: using edge-triggered on
level-triggered
...

The IRQ5 seem not to be shared on my system, and when the interface goes up,
the system freeze.

 Anybody as an idea ?

 Thanks in advance.
