Hi guys,

Just wondering why the 3MAX+ seems to use the font which the PMAGB-B uses in
the console (ie at the chevron prompt '>>'), and hence uses the full
real-estate of the graphic console, yet on a DEC3000 M400, you have to
compile the kernel with a font which doesn't use half as much real estate
and is bigger, and (IMHO) more ugly?

Can the DEC3000 use the same font as the console ('>>>') and use the entire
screen like the 3MAX+ does? It'd be really nice. Or is there a difference
because the alpha stuff has to take into account all that PC/PCI hardware
out there?

Cheers,

Collin
