I'm trying to compile php4 from pkgsrc to include gettext.  It seems 
the necessary shared libs are not found, but they are in my 
/usr/pkg/lib/ directory.

I know  NetBSD Alpha doesn't use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable,
and it seems I need a -rpath to be passed so that these libs 
can be found.  I'm assuming I need to update/modify a variable 
to handle this.

I've done some poking around, and it seems that most of this 
stuff is managed from /usr/pkgsrc/mk, but I'm not sure which
file needs the update.
