I have a AlphaServer 1200 with a 53c875 NCR/sym SCSI controller that 
times out during booting off the install CD. I had the same problem with 
trying to install FreeBSD 4.x. Is there a workaround or future fix for 
the siop driver? I know that some qlogic cards will work (compaq 
specific), if there is no possible way to get the 53c875 to work does 
anyone know where I could buy one?
