In other news, re-seating both banks of SIMMs semmed to fix the problem.
The metal retaining clips on the bank 0 SIMM slot are very weak, and it
may have wiggled loose.

I hope I don't have to take the board out and try to replace that socket.
That'd be a pain. :(
