do i have to use the MMJ port on the back of a /700 or can i use the 25-pin
printer port?  i'm just curious, my mmj cable is at linc's house and i don't
feel like cobbling one together.  i just want to know if i can expect to be
able to use the other printer port.

downloaded the DEC docs on the 3000 machine, and while i learned all sorts of
cool stuff about the 3000 series, i didn't learn anything "useful" :)
