I recently picked up an old 255/233. I can connect to the serial console via my 3000/300 via tip. Tip isn't working the best, but Ican see most of the console text..
The thing has alpha bios as the uni department they came from used to
run nt 3.51
I want to get rid of alphabios and replace with srm - to install netbsd - of course.. (-:
I have the firmware cd from compaq.

Can anyone give pointes on how to do this? I have done upgrades on srm before not not flashed alphabios to srm.
