Hi,

i just got a DEC3000/300LX and i installed NetBSD 1.5 on it.
For this i dd'ed 'cdhdtape' onto the disk (on which Digital Unix was
installed), and booted it using a serial console.
Everything went fine until the partitioning of the drive: 'sysinst'
recognized the drive as a 1.4MB instead a 510MB !
Finally i managed to partition it using the old 'install' program and
giving the parameters displayed at boot-time (which were correct !) and
finished the installation 'manually'.
I tried again 'sysinst' after this, and then it recognized the drive
correctly....

Is this an error in the 'sysinst' program or did i not understand how to
install NetBSD the correct way ?
(it's the first time i use NetBSD, and also my first experience
'administrating' an alpha)

thanks

Martin
