There are TC FDDI cards, and NetBSD supports them :-)

Hm, 175MHz EV4 + the slow version of the TC bus... that really is a
pretty slow machine... You're probably in the neighborhood of a 120MHz
Pentium or something... dunno, I need to get my 3000/300LX fired up,
then I could make a better estimate :-)
