Dear NetBSD/Alpha people,

I'm working on the port of Java 2 to FreeBSD. Currently, things are moving
along nicely for the i386 platform, but we seem to be stuck on the Alpha
platform. We need someone to write a custom function invoker in DEC Alpha
assembler.

You can find more information on our porting effort on my unofficial FreeBSD
Java pages: http://web.inter.nl.net/users/kjkoster/java/index.html

Is there anyone on this list who has a little spare time on his/her hands to
help us out? We've got the code in both sparc and i386 assembler and it's
even fairly well-documented. It does not look like it's all that difficult.
From what little m68k assember I learned back in school I would say it's a
night or two worth of hacking.

By the way, I'm also curious where I can find more information on porting
the JDK to NetBSD. Is anyone working on that?

Please keep me CC'd since I'm not subscribed to the list.

Thank you for you time.

    Kees Jan
