Really?  This is quite odd, because running Netscape remotely from my
AlphaStation 200 4/233, file->new->navigator window doesn't take 12
seconds.  This is a much slower maching running something along the
lines of 1.4.2.  It has about 96 MB.  The display is my PWS433a with
128MB.  I am running Netscape 4.61 for Tru64^WOSF/1^W...

I'll install it locally on the PWS433 and see how long it takes.
