Hello all,
I tied to install NetBSD on alpha for the first time.
The machine has DP264 motherbord and SRM firmware.
I used the two floppy disks to boot installation kernel.
The machine start booting and asked me what terminal type am I using
with the default value VT100.
I hit enter but no response. Then I tried to type 'VT100' but no echo
back on the display. It seems the machine does not accept my input.
So, I went to www.netbsd.org and looked into Alpha FAQ but nothing
useful I could find out.
Now what should I do?
I hope this is a common question.
Thanks for your help in advance.
