I tried "ifconfig ray0 link0" and got this right after doing a ping to
the Windows machine:

cpu_Debugger() at cpu_Debugger+0x4
panic() at panic+0xe4
trap() at trap+0x50c
XentUna() at XentUna+0x20
--- unaligned access fault (from ipl 1) ---
fr_makefrip() at fr_makefrip+0x25c
fr_check() at fr_check+0x22c
ip_input() at ip_input+0x390
ipintr() at ipintr+0x94
netintr() at netintr+0x90
do_sir() at do_sir+0x34
esigcode() at esigcode+0x80
prologue botch: displacement 216
--- root of call graph ---

fr_makefrip is part of ipf so I disabled ipf and give it a try to see if
the problem is ipf-centric and got this again right after doing a ping =
to
the Win machine.

cpu_Debugger() at cpu_Debugger+0x4
panic() at panic+0xe4
trap() at trap+0x518
XentUna() at XentUna+0x20
--- unaligned access fault (from ipl 1) ---
icmp_input() at icmp_input+0x1b4
ip_input() at ip_input+0xbe4
ipintr() at ipintr+0x94
netintr() at netintr+0x90
do_sir() at do_sir+0x34
esigcode() at esigcode+0x80
prologue botch: displacement 216
--- root of call graph ---

At this point I didn't investigate further but the problem doesn't seem =
to
be related to ipf.

One thing I could do is install current on my Intel box and see if the=20
problem persist on this platform also. Would that be worthwhile?

I am open to any suggestions on how to approach this to help find the =
problem.

Thanks,
Colin.
