I managed to pick up a couple of surplus alphas (3000 300 LX models) this
weekend.  Alas, when I try to boot them, to install NetBSD-1.4.2, it dies
when newfsing anything AFTER the root partition on a drive, by the install
script, or manually.  Anyone know anything about how to get newfs to properly
work on any partition after the root partition?  Any insights, fixes, etc.,
are appreciated.
