Hi,
looking closely at my DS20's motherboard I noticed that there are 2 adaptec
SCSI controllers (aic7895) on it, with 2 Ultra-wide (or maybe U2W) connectors
near them. But neither the SRM not the NetBSD kernel see them, so I gess
there is some magic needed to enable them.
The User's guide that comes with the machine doesn't mention the aic
controllers in the list of SCSI busses (only metions add-on boards) but
"screen dumps" of SRM output shows 2 aic controllers on
"bus 00 slot 06/0" and "bus 00 slot 06/1". On my system bus 00 slot 06 is
not one of the PCI slot, and the cypress is on bus 00 slot 05, so I guess
these are the on-board aic.
Also I had to order an add-on UW PCI board for the DS20, but DS20E is
shipped with U2W disks and doesn't require add-on controller. Is the
motherboard of the 20E the same as the DS20 ?

Any infos on this ? Not that I need these 2 aic controllers but it could be
nice to play a bit with them :)
