I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, but I can contribute the data
point that the four 32-bit cards I have in my pc164 work equally well
in the 32-bit and 64-bit slots (the cards are a 21040 ethernet card,
an AdvanSys SCSI controller, an Ensoniq AudioPCI, and a Creative
AudioPCI '97).
