I grabbed the netscape for linux-alpha RPM from digital's site, unpacked
the various layers, and it almost runs... but not quite:

[...]
 27435 netscape CALL getdomainname(0x6485e798,0x100)
 27435 netscape RET getdomainname 0
 27435 netscape CALL getpid
 27435 netscape RET getpid 27435/0x6b2b
 27435 netscape CALL open(0x145d1719,0,0xffffffffffffd580)
 27435 netscape NAMI "/emul/osf1/var/yp/binding/poof.2"
 27435 netscape NAMI "/var/yp/binding/poof.2"
 27435 netscape PSIG SIGALRM caught handler=0x12d7e4b0 mask=() code=0x0
 27435 netscape RET open 12/0xc
 27435 netscape CALL gettimeofday(0x1ffffd190,0)
 27435 netscape RET gettimeofday 0
 27435 netscape CALL sigreturn(0x1ffffd208)
 27435 netscape RET sigreturn JUSTRETURN
27435 netscape CALL #131 (unimplemented flock)
 27435 netscape PSIG SIGSYS SIG_DFL

and it bombs out with "Bad system call"...

I'm running over NFS (diskless) and running 1.4P on a 3000/400:

NetBSD aragorn 1.4P NetBSD 1.4P (aragorn) #3: Fri Dec 10 23:49:17 PST 1999 agrier@aragorn:/amd/goldberry/usr/local/src/NetBSD/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/aragorn alpha

Compiling a newly supped kernel as I type...

anybody else seen this? Is it an NFS problem?
