Well, I for one purchased a fast Alpha box so that I could use it as a
compute server and do things like run Netscape on it and display it on
my pokey pentium 100 laptop.

Don't assume that the x86 box in a setup (if one exists! think of the
folks who use ELC's as their login heads) is the fast, memory-ful, or
disk-ful system around.
