Hi,

if I enable the USB controller et al. in the config file,
the following happens at boot time:

--------------
scsibus0 at ncr0: 8 targets, 8 luns per target
sio0 at pci0 dev 7 function 0: Intel 82378ZB System I/O (SIO) (rev. 0x03)
de0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0
de0: interrupting at isa irq 5
de0: DEC 21040 [10Mb/s] pass 2.3
de0: address 08:00:2b:e4:bf:67
ohci0 at pci0 dev 12 function 0: Opti RM861HA (rev. 0x03)
ohci0: interrupting at isa irq 10
ohci0: OHCI version 1.0, legacy support
usb0 at ohci0: USB revision 1.0

unexpected machine check:

    mces    = 0x1
    vector  = 0x660
    param   = 0xfffffc0000006000
    pc      = 0xfffffc00004a19f0
    ra      = 0xfffffc000033b698
    curproc = 0xfffffc000053ddc0
        pid = 0, comm = swapper

panic: machine check
Stopped in swapper at cpu_Debugger+0x4: ret zero,(ra)

Machine is an AlphaStation 200 (Avanti) and the USB controller
sits on a plugin PCI card. NetBSD version is supped at 11-Dec-99.

Tell me what to check and I'm glad to help...

regards,
chris
