One other concern with "Kludges" is that they 1) often times DON'T go
away, and 2) they might well need to be supported even when a "clean" fix
comes along. Kludges have staying power in that they can release the
pressure to get problems fixed, thus they never get removed. :-) And if
they make it into a release, well we really need to support them for a
while. :-)
