Er, I'm full of it. As Ross reminds us, the xf86 code uses inb() and
outb() for vastly more than just setup (Damn PCI for having two
separate spaces anyway). A quick find | egrep shows ~9000 instances in
the code under xsrc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86.

Yuck.
