Do you actually mean "PMAG" or "PMAGB"?

I'd expect to find the latter in a 3000-family alpha box, but the
former is much less likely.

The PMAGB-BA is also known as the "smart frame buffer," and is fairly
well documented in many places, the best of which might be EK-D3SYS-PM
(see my docs page).
