I decided to start installing this new box of mine with the latest &
greatest, from NFS. The box will happily load the first stage booter, and
appears to happily load the kernel, but the last things said on the console
is a report of the first stage booter jumping into what it has just loaded,
and then nothing.

Any bets on whether I'll have more luck with a serial console, instead of
using the tube on the video port with the keyboard/mouse? I also have not
(yet) upgraded the SRM console code from v5.1 to v5.3.
