Hi,

we just wanted to install netbsd an a alpha PC164SX.
we tried the bootdisk snapshots of current and 1.3.3
but every time it failed. the 1.3.3 images worked better
because it returns us the prompt of the srm console what
the boot images of current didn't do. they halted more or less
at the beginning after writing to the display something aobut
cia ... but anyway the 1.3.3 images seem to work better so the
error messages will be from 1.3.3.

sio_intr_setup:0 lt!
sio_sis:inital:ocw=(f9,ff), elcr=(ff,ff)
current: ocw=f9,ff
eclr=ff,ff
panic: sio_setirqstat:hosed

we just got a hint that we need a kernel with the define BROKEN_PROM_CONSOLE
in src/sys/arch/alpha/pci/sio_pic.c removed. can some supply us with the
built kernel? we would be glad because then we could go on with our
installation.
