I don't think this requires a "sigh".  I see no problems with commenting them
both out, as long as we do something like:

# wss sound works, pick the right one for your machine:
#multia
# wss foo
#as200
# wss foo

Otherwise the wss being commented out indicates that it is broken, and should
not be used.  A side issue, perhaps we should make a config, called MULTIA,
with a kernel built especially for them.  We are getting alot of multia users
lately..  ;)
