Hello,
Is there a particular reason why the wss* line in the various
kernel config files uses drq 0? The current line looks like:
wss* at isa? port 0x530 irq 9 drq 0 # Windows Sound System
My multia needs:
wss* at isa? port 0x530 irq 9 drq 3 # Windows Sound System
Configured for drq 3, it works great, except for some nasty static when
mpg123 opens the device. Doing 'cat blah.au > /dev/audio' is clean.
Anyway, all of the config files in usr/src/sys/arch/alpha/conf have drq 0
which presumably is correct on other Alpha models. Even 'CANE' thorpej's
multia has the wrong drq.. :) (albeit commented out)
Perhaps a specific line for the multia with a comment to the effect?
wss* at isa? port 0x530 irq 9 drq 3 # Windows Sound System (multia)
