ok good, i look forward to trying this=2E
my plan is to use this box as a router=2E=2E=2E

it will be sitting on three networks, a 100bt (via pci ethernet card), a 10=
bt=20
(via pci ethernet card), and another 10bt (some isa card)

hopefully ill find a working isa card on my alpha, ive tried about 3 differ=
ent=20
ne2000 clones, in jumpered mode, etc=2E=2E=2E oh well thats what i get for=20=
buying=20
crappy hardware=2E=2E=2E

i think ill try to pick up a cheap 3com 509 or maybe some intel card if the=
y are
cheap=2E

No=2E=2E once you have the kernel loaded, the kernel should be able to make=

it work in 100baseTX mode=2E
    =20
To do this, you need to use ifconfig's "media" directive, like so:

ifconfig de0 media 100tx
    =20
