Yah, the kernel used to just print the systype name.  You really want
to be running -current on a 164LX.  That machine has a Pysix, and
NetBSD didn't really deal well with the Pyxis until I recently fixed it.

The Alpha is particularly evil wrt. stack unwinding... you'll want to
