I found my problem with ypbind not working..  For some reason the interface on
de0 came up as:

de0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        address: 08:00:2b:e4:2f:aa
        media: autoselect (manual) status: active
        inet 192.168.10.9 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.10.9

My pc's and my sparcs come up with the broadcast set correctly without having
to specify it on the ifconfig line..  Is there some reason alphas do this
differently?  I'm running 1.3E snapshot 04/20.
