Unless, of course, the systm BIOS (a.k.a. SRM 8-) tells the Super I/O
chip "disable that logical sub-device," in wihch case we can't talk to
it at all.
I wonder if it's possible to isacfg it into doing the right thing...
but people said they tried that, right?
