If Windows 95 clients work but NT clients don't, this may be due to a
security configuration difference in newer (i.e. 4.0 SR3) NT versions;
check the samba doc directory for something like NT4-PlainPasswords, there
is a registry entry you'll need to change on the NT machine. Sorry, can't
remember details...
