Hi folks...

I'm happy to annouce that the Alpha port has a new maintainer, Ross Harvey
of Avalon Computer Systems.

I'd like to express my thanks to Curt Sampson for acting in the role as
an interim maintainer (building the 1.3 release, etc.)  A round of applause
for Curt!

And a big welcome (like we don't all know him already :-) to Ross!
