BTW, I strongly recommend that people use DHCP, even if only doing
static mapping of IP addresses.

DHCP allows for longer packets than bootp, so longer root paths and
more other 'stuff' can fit.

(I ran into a weird problem a week or two ago where my alpha would no
longer netboot, because somebody'd changed a config file and all of
the necessary info would no longer fit into a bootp packet...  that
was a real bummer.  8-)
