Hi.  I'm experiencing kernel panics with DEC3000/300.  Does anyone
out there have same trouble with 1.3 GENERIC kernel?

The panic is very easily reproducable and system is nearly unusable.
Runing '/sbin/config GENERIC' and/or 'make depend' can crash instantly.
Kernel is GENERIC#0.  I'm very sure when I tried snapshot kernel last
summar, the kernel was very stable and never made any trouble like this.

I've already sent a PR, but received no reply. I'm wondering this trouble
is just peculiar to mine, or more popular.
