Is this even possible? I have gotten a little peeved with the ncr controller 
continuously locking up the system, and was hoping to use an alternate scsi
controller with the machine, but the firmware does not seem to recognize the 
card. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hardware: Dec 166Mhz Multia Alpha AXP
	  Seagate ST52160N disk, external
	  64MB memory
	  Adaptec 2940AU (hopefully)
