Well, I'm not sure I can track this down without a lot of help from
you. I have a
de0 at pci0 dev 12 function 0
de0: interrupting at isa irq 5
de0: SMC 9332DST 21140 [10-100Mb/s] pass 1.2

de0: enabling 10baseT port
and it ifconfig's just fine on my AXPpci33. Gdb on the debugging
version of the kernel gives me:
