Ok. I looked at the distributed /Alpha config files and they all had
'maxusers 8'. I previously had it set to 64 which made it freeze after
printing the memory information. I now have it set to 8 and it is running
fine. I have not tried increasing maxusers beyond 8.

So, now that I have it working, it would be nice to get rid of all the
silly bogus PCI devices and be able to netboot. From what I understand,
this requires the "experimental" firmware revision. I would greatly
appreciate it if someone could point me to this.
