It works with NFSv3. Almost all my diskless PCs are served
by a DU machine.
There is another (less serious) problem with DU <= 3.2:
UNIX domain sockets are confured with FIFOs. This breaks
/dev/log, printer and local X11.
(solved with 4.0)
