Avalon has ALL the dec ethernet chip manuals. Our netbsd project won't
start for another month or so, but I would be happy to provide information
to someone working on things now.

One important note: the various DEC EN chips (21040, 21041, 21140) are NOT
compatible, just similar. So if you just have one manual, you can break
things...the driver is generally a common code set making run-time
distinctions between the chips.

Note also that these chips are in widespread general use...it's not
just an alpha issue.
