Add "options DIAGNOSTIC" to your config file (you must have edited it
out because the current sources all have otions DEBUG, DIAGNOSTIC).

Or add -Wno-uninitialized to CWARNFLAGS in /sys/arch/alpha/conf/Makefile.alpha.
