ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/Linux-Alpha/MiniLoader/src
The only thing that is released as binary only is the digital x86 emu
object, but most machines can settle for the less advanced x86 emu which
source is provided for.

First, Milo is _not_ as 2nd stage bootloader like the netbsd one,or
aboot. It completely replaces arc/srm in ram, thats why you can flash
milo on several machines. On small machines it saves about 2M of RSS,and
on biggies about 4M of ram because you have milo instead of srm resident
in memory. Teaching it to jump back to srm would probably need some
hacking, and I guess it would end up with the same result as you would
get if you reset'd the machine.

Oh btw, most newish NT machines (IE the cheap versions), will use the
AlphaBios which is not compatible with the arc, so that might be something
to consider..
