Are there any Alpha users out there that have tested the recently posted
changes to the ncr driver (on current-users) on their systems? 

I'm interested in stability and performance compared to its current
state on both the i386 and alpha, to see if committing these changes is
worthwhile and safe (previous problems with the driver have left
me to be very careful with changes to it).
