Hmm!? I've got my Multia right here in front of my eyes, and it's plugged
into a 10BaseT hub. When I boot, I get:

	de0: enabling 10baseT/UTP port

Perhaps the difference is that I'm still running an earlier NetBSD-current
snapshot than 1.2? If so, sorry for the misinformation and best of luck
resolving your situation...
