That's disturbing...  I _did_ test my new code on a 300LX, but i
didn't test the final build of it (i didn't think i changed anything
for the 300LX since the last build i tried, though...).

unfortunately, the 300LX that i have doesn't have a serial console, so
i _can't properly test distributions on it...  (very annoying that the
only way to get a 300 to use the serial console is to remove the
keyboard & mouse...)

i'll fix this tonight, though...  8-)
